Carburetor To Intake Manifold Gaskets

One of the leading causes of base plates cracking is the use of improper carburetor to manifold gaskets. Most gaskets are too thick (.062″) and the materials are too soft. They become “spongy” from absorbing the fuel being used. This quality material along with a reduced thickness to .047″ greatly reduces the risk of cracking base plates.
